The Proof is in the Eating!

There's no point in making yummy food and not sharing it!  It's been a great success at home but today I invited Heather and Toby over for lunch.
Home made chicken soup with toasted home made bread. The German grain bread was great to dunk and even better with jam.  Heather preferred the white which I must say was very special.

Toby chose blackberry jam but next time I'll offer my own pear jam.  When I get super organised I'll do a step- by- step blog on how easy it is to make jam.  And you know it works out much cheaper then the bought stuff.

  1. Looking forward to seeing how you make pear jam - seeing as pear is the only fruit I can eat on the elimination diet. Enjoying reading your blogs!

  2. No problems. You can use fresh fruit or if you're feeling lazy you can even used tinned pears! Just depends if you CAN eat tinned pears!
